A LONG DECEMBER by Richard Chizmar and Stephen King Revisited News!

Hey Folks!

Just a heads-up, Richard has been busy writing his own stories these past couple of months, but Stephen King Revisited will be busier than ever in 2016 with more great essays and memories — and at least one more contest with a SIGNED Stephen King book as the grand prize!!

In the meantime, please check out Richard’s forthcoming collection, A Long December, due out this year from Subterranean Press. Here’s what Stephen King had to say about it:

“Powerful…I love it…Richard Chizmar writes clean, no-nonsense prose…sets his tales in no-nonsense, middle class neighborhoods I can relate to…and writes terrific stories served with a very large slice of Disquiet Pie.”

Great looking cover and title! I love Stephen King, too.

Was curious if Richard might write a short story at some point about this experience of reading the King bibliography all over again. There has to be a horror-tale concept in it — do weird things happen once he starts revisiting the past through the tomes? And how does the author of those books play a part? Maybe it could be a screenplay that could turn into one of those low-budget Blumhouse Horror pictures.

Anyway, cannot wait to read more essays, and I look forward to checking out Richard’s collection. Much success with the project.
